Field Real Estate was formed in 1944 by Lillienne I. Field, one of the most prominent and successful REALTORS® in the greater Salem area for three decades. In a time when male agents dominated the real estate market, she was the first woman to be appointed to the local Board of Realtors (The Greater Salem Board back then). She was known for her honesty, fairness, and integrity, and was respected by her clients and fellow brokers alike.

 

Following in the footsteps of his grandmother and fulfilling her wish to have him continue her business, in 2005 James Field Armstrong opened Armstrong Field Real Estate, which he ran until 2024, when he merged with ALUXETY Real Estate.
